Thomas Mayberry was able to take his own story and turn it into a guide for leaders who are also Christians. The great thing about this book, though, is that even if you aren't a Christian, you could still learn from reading this book. I loved the way the author made his beliefs apparent without beating you over the head with them. You could read this book as an atheist and still learn about the different types of leaders that you will encounter in your lifetime, as well as, have the opportunity to look inside yourself to find out what type of leader you, yourself, are.
Most leaders today don't take the time to look into what's driving them as a leader or what/who is LEADING them. If God is leading you, then as a leader, you should be doing what God is asking of you. If you aren't, then he isn't at the center of your life and you aren't leading the way he created you to lead. It was very refreshing to sit down and read through a book that could greatly help some of the big names in the corporate world these days. Corporations that are out there today are lead based on greed and politics, not our own personal beliefs. What happened to business ethics? I think this is a book that could definitely help others to start leading the way God intended them to and not the way they were trained in "Corporate America" to lead.
