About the Author
Rev. Dr. Darrell Smith is a teacher, writer, and an aspiring integral theologian who has served in the Methodist church since 1999. He also serves as a director of C3—a non-profit organization committed to conversations and connections that serve people and the common good. Darrell’s exploration—and at times protest—of religion and spirituality has led him to homeless shelters, prisons, refugee ghettos, and recovery groups as well as universities, temples, synagogues, and mosques.

In fact, I DARE you to read it!
Everyone I've given the book to loved it.
It is very helpful also to read it with other folks and discuss. It has reshaped my theology IN A GOOD WAY. :)
This isn't the best book on the topic that I've read, but I think it would be a really good intro for people just beginning to dig into their questions and doubts about the story they were handed because Smith is so relatable and humble in his approach. Also, the reading list by chapter is PURE GOLD.
I received this book from SpeakEasy in exchange for my honest review.
If you've been wrestling with faith and God -- or maybe deconstructing your faith -- Darrell may help you put words to the tangle of thoughts in your soul and find a way to return to the simplicity of the peace and love that you were made to receive -- and express in the world.
