This is a very insightful, meaningful and fulfilling read. If you are Catholic this is a very important read. You will find that your relationship with God will be stronger and your love of your Catholic faith will be greater. If you are not Catholic I would strongly encourage you to read this book because I truly believe that most non-Catholic's don't fully understand what Catholic's believe (perhaps Catholic's as well don't either), and this book clarifies those misconceptions.

Fr. Malloy's book is remarkably insightful, bringing his training as both a sociologist and a priest into balance. His refinement of the old question, WWJD, to "What would Peter, Paul and Mary Magdalene do" is reason enough to read this book! Young adults trying to see how faith fits into the modern world will gain much from this easy-to-read volume.

This book I will read again and again. It is for FREEDOM that Faith should work in us. To live, love, freely. Let's see where we're getting in our own way. GRATEFUL to Richard G. Malloy for this wonderful book which our entire American Catholicism class loved!

As a young Catholic, I found this book to be extremely insightful. Not only did Malloy intelligently and humorously address some of the Church's most pressing concerns, he also inspired further "digging" into one's faith. Challenging and timely, "A Faith That Frees" is one of the most satisfying reads concerning faith that I've come across so far.
