For an inexpensive track belt these are just great. Quality seems quite good. Packaging is insane. Looks like it should cost $100 based on the box it comes in. But most importantly- see picture. The most important thing in a track belt is that the “tracks” start close to the non-trimmable end. If not you end up with an awful floppy thing because it’s too long (this doesn’t get affected by trimming the length of the other side). In the pic you’ll see how close the tracks are to the end on the pink falari belt. That’s great! The black belt you’ll see, the tracks start almost an inch further inside. That’s terrible. This is crucial in track belts looking right. Falari obviously cares and manufactures the belts correctly. Other vendors just don’t get it. Always get ratchet belts where the tracks start like no further than 4 inches from the end!!! It’s critical! These are a great buy for the money!!

I bought one of these as a golf belt for my shorts as it is very hard to find a belt with holes that fit just perfectly. The belt was so cool I bought five other colors. The belt itself is very nice leather, the buckle is small and simple, but the real amazing thing is the ratchet system. Why I never had a ratchet belt before I don't know why but I will never go back. It is so awesome to be able to dial in the fit exactly how I want for all different kinds of clothes. I now wear these belts exclusively with my dress clothes as well. I am a 32 waist and like to wear my pants as a low rise and the excess belt just gets passed my first belt loop as a medium. If you wear anything bigger than a 32 I would get the next size up

I bought this product after my Mission belt broke. I have purchased four mission belts, and while I love them I’ve been disappointed with the quality. I’ve had one crack badly and one buckle break while wearing it. I found this belt for about a third of the price and decided to take a gamble. It arrived quickly, like everything on Amazon, and the packaging was way better than I could have imagined. The belt is a bit wider than my mission belts, but still fits my jeans and suits without issue. The buckle seems to be of similar quality at a fraction of the price. I will definitely buy again.

If you're looking for a colorful belt with a kind of unusual, gimmicky, but ultimately functional, buckle mechanism, then this product is for you! However, if you're looking for real leather, look elsewhere. The "leather" is just a very thin, synthetic surface layer applied onto a composite core. It's a fraction of a millimeter thick and it's pretty easy to figure out that it isn't real leather. It feels convincing (is the term "hand" used in leather?) but it doesn't wear like leather.

The buckle is kind of weird, as many reviews have mentioned. It's not hard to operate, but I am concerned that it won't hold up, as some other reviews have posted. It's very shiny and seems fairly sturdy. There's a sort of cam adjustment to hold the buckle into the belt itself with these pointy pins, and then there's a clasp that you sort of pull in to release the buckle when the belt is cinched-- in which case the belt is mechanically fastened into this plastic track on the backside of the belt. I've never seen anything like this, and it's quite clever. But, again, cleverness doesn't make a product authentic. If it says it's leather and it's not, it's not leather. A common thread I've found on Amazon.

Dry leather with marks

I like the belt and the color. What I didn't foresee (I should've) is that you can't wear this belt both directions (from the left hand direction and the right, making the buckle upside down). The latch is actually pretty finicky, before I got the hang of it I inhaled deeply to suck in my stomach and make space so I could disengage it. The lever works best pointing downward as the belt was designed and with the tension on it relaxed.

It both is harder to use and just plain looks silly if you put the belt on latch-side up. So there's that. and then the 4 star part of my review, which perhaps should be 3, but whatever as long as it's documented.

Firstly, this one is just me, but I've really started trying to cut down on plastic in my life and the packaging on this thing is just insane. While I understand they are trying to provide a "fine product" impression and also protect the belt, there is plastic on just EVERYTHING. The whole belt and each part is individually covered in it in some way. And yet, all that couldn't keep it from arriving to me without marks from the buckle in the leather. Because of the way they rolled the belt up in the individual box it comes in, the leather is pressed-up against the metal buckle which makes a line on the belt where it stays like that.

I've purchased two belts by this same company, the other belt was a simpler design with just a metal piece under the buckle to insert into the belt notches. It had no marks and actually seems more impressive. The one commonality both belts had was that they both arrived dry. Leather goods have to be taken care of and allowed to keep a certain level of moisture. When the grain shows so much and threatens to crackle, it should be obvious that it needs some care. I figured they were both pretty clean already from the factory so I just gave them both a generous dose of Lexol leather conditioner. It seemed to bring back some life to the finish and I felt better straining the leather ( when worn) than just putting it on from the package.

WOW, I am impressed. I am a HUGE fan. I have several Mission belts and these are VERY close to a perfect match. There are two differences, the leather is great, but the Mission belt has better leather. It's thicker and more ridged, however VERY nice. The other difference is the tab to remove the buckle from the leather. It's VERY tight. I like to mix and match different colors of buckles with belts. Blue belt, white buckle for example. You will need to use a screw driver to remove the buckle, HOWEVER NOT a deal breaker.

I would recommend these to ANYONE!! The best part $12.99 vs $38....enough said!!
