6$ can of air vs. 180$ repair bill!

This was a life saver for my son’s 8th generation iPad. I noticed his iPad would charge but it was charging at a much slower rate than normal. And then after it was plugged into the charger for a few seconds, his iPad would read “Not Charging”. I looked on iPad forums and one possibility was the port needed to be cleaned. I purchased a port cleaning kit and no luck. I also tried some other resetting steps from Apple and no luck. I called the uBreakiFix store and spoke to a technician. He said it was a malfunction on the motherboard and would cost me 180.00 to fix. I thought about compressed air cans. I figured I’d try this as my last resort before shelling out another 180$. And sure enough, it worked! iPad charges no problem and the iPad does not read “Not Charging” anymore! Yes the can is small, as others have said in reviews. But you just need a small burst of air. This air can should last a while! And I will gladly pay 6 bucks or so for a small can of compressed air to a 180$ repair bill!

Small can, but works great on plastic fans

The can itself is 4 1/4” high. It cleans those plastic USB fans really well. They clog up fast with dust and quit. I used 1/2 the can on cleaning 1 fan and my iPad key board. Not a great value, but works well. Very pricey for this size can.

A literal safety hazard!

Some people can exaggerate when writing a product review, but i promise everything here is true.

Originally the first time I went to use this after it arrived, it would not work. I was able to see under the nozzle on top and see that the plastic piece that connects to the nozzle cap was totally bent.
I then contact the seller and described to them that the product was broken and I believe I should naturally recieve a replacement. The first weird thing to me was when they wanted me to return the item, I understand for most products but a can of air? I was just gonna toss it.

I figured I might as well see what i can do before returning it, i was able to pry a tool under the cap to straighten out the previously mentioned plastic piece and boom I thought I had fixed it.

The next day I start cleaning a PC with this can of air, after about 10 seconds in i hear a loud pop and air is rushing out fast and cold, I could do nothing to stop it. Now I am running outside, nearly knocked over the PC I was working on and had to throw the item outside like a grenade!

I started freezing and stung my hand pretty good during this (Picture attached if you dont believe me)

So yes this is a 1 star product, it is an overpriced can of air thats sold by a cheap company that will not ship you a new product after theirs shipped broken - it may even freeze your hand!
For YOUR own safety, buy a differernt product from a different seller, I don't want anyone to have to deal with what i just went through.
