The Fall Up had the perfect balance of a gorgeous romance, heart-melting swoon, sexy hotness, hilarious banter, and incredibly deep emotions, that all came together in a unique love story loaded with feels! -Aestas Book Blog

The Fall Up spoke to the romantics in us, it had us welling up and falling in love with two beautiful, troubled yet upbeat characters and delivered everything it promised. -TotallyBooked

The Fall Up is full of snarky texts, sweet words, and hilarious come backs, but it has plenty of feels for all of the angst lovers out there. -Red Cheek Reads

What a beautiful, emotional and unique story! I loved it a lot and can’t stop thinking about it, even a couple days after finishing it. After the first chapter, I was hooked and I didn’t want to put it down. The book deals with a heavy issue, one that I haven’t read about before and I think that the author handled it very well. There were several funny moments and the banter made the book lighter and made me love it even more. Definitely one of my top favorite books of 2015! A must read!

Levee and Sam meet on a rainy night on a bridge. He already saw her there a couple nights before and he finally finds the courage to speak to her. They have a simple conversation that will change both of their lives forever. They don’t exchange names during their first conversation, they both have secrets and will meet each other on that bridge every night to talk.

Levee doesn’t want to say her name, because she is famous and she doesn’t want Sam to tell the press or look at her differently. When she finally tells him who she is, he doesn’t act differently and that has never happened before. Levee struggles with a lot of things, but Sam makes her happy again. In the end she wants and needs Sam, and she enjoys life again. Sam is the perfect book boyfriend. He is gorgeous, sweet, a fighter, creative and owns his own shop. He didn’t have the easiest past and he has trouble moving on, but Levee helps him without realizing it. Just like he saves her. Sam has always been there for everybody, always taking care of people, and now is he there for Levee. That isn’t easy for him, given his past, but he quickly realizes that she is different and he really wants a future with her. For a man who says he doesn’t do romance, did some romantic gestures and I fell in love with him.

"In that moment, the perpetual free fall was no match for the way he made me feel. I was still falling at unstoppable speeds - only, in his arms, as his body claimed me without a single word spoken, I was suddenly falling up."

I just finished The Fall Up and I just loved it! Sam and Levee meet in the most peculiar ways, both fighting to stay upright while their world is crashing around them. Levee is a singing superstar and is utterly exhausted and just cant catch her breath.

"My career was soaring while, personally, I was plummeting. Every single day felt like a terrifying free fall in no particular direction. I was stuck in the middle with no way up - or down."

The way that she was portrayed, I literally felt her pain, her anguish, her suffocating, but when she meets Sam and can finally take a breath, I felt that too. I love how Aly did that.

Sam is a genuinely nice guy and I am so in love! He is funny, talented and he really cares about her well being and for me just because she is famous, he handled himself with so much poise and honor that I couldn't help but free fall, just like Levee.

"I kissed her hair and whispered, "There isnt a woman in the world who doesnt have demons of some sort. No matter who I end up with, its always going to be a struggle." I kissed her hair again, letting it linger as if my lips were able to transfer the truth of my words. "Levee, I'd like to struggle with you."

They had just awesome chemistry and I couldn't help but laugh and smile through it all while also my heart broke for what they felt and had gone through. Their vulnerability just made them all the more real to me. Even the secondary characters, they were just as amazing.

I have been called, and often refer to myself as, an angst junkie, a glutton for punishment, even a bit of a masochist as the books that make me cry the hardest are often the ones I love the most. Aly Martinez is a master of emotion. There is not a single story with her name on it that I have read and not had a full blown, all out case of the feels. When a book can make me feel so intensely it is automatically added to my list of favorites. The Fall Up? More than any of Aly Martinez's books yet, The Fall Up delivers more than those sad, squishy, tingly feels that make your eyes leak and heart ache. This book will make you smile, grin, and smirk, it will make you giggle, laugh, and even cackle. The Fall Up provides the full spectrum of feels like no other with an intriguing and intoxicating story and adorably charming and engrossing characters to match.

Aly Martinez's wit and impeccable storytelling never cease to amaze me. A book that starts with two people contemplating ending it all, The Fall Up is unusually and surprisingly humorous bringing endless joy throughout what was sure to be a heartbreaking and difficult story while the two would-be jumpers held me captive with their banter, their secrets, and their hearts.

So two people meet at the top of a bridge and unexpectedly fall for one another automatically healing each other and making everything better. That's what The Fall Up is about right? Wrong. The two main characters fall in love but give one a much needed sense of solace, stability, and love and the other the encouragement and motivation to seek help. Now that's more like it.
