In this edition he provides you with the basics of your own hard wired food desires and how food comanies and restaurants take advantage of them. He also strip away the long standing dogma attached to certain dietary points of view and gives you a scientific perspective on why some long held views are not only wrong, but how they may actually be hurting you in the long run.
While some authors are quick to show you information and give you general advice that is left up to your interpretation, Dr. Fenster gives you an excellent guide for putting his knowledge into practical use and how it will improve your health, and as a result, your life.
This is a book that can guide you back to a sane and rational diet in today murky world of unrealistic and fadish diets that don't work over the long haul.
This book is a must have if you're serious about your health.
This book is sure to scare those people that use misinformation to prey on others in their quest for making good health choices. Dr. Fenster's book is a clean, fresh and honest perspective on our health, how to own it, how to protect it and how to make the right decisions about it. The no holds barred approach to his writing peels away the layers of incomplete and flat out incorrect health information that has been disseminated by both trusted and less than legitimate sources for years. Get this book and be prepared to be enlightened.
I work in healthcare. Seeing the same people return repeatedly is like being a carpenter returning repeatedly to repair the house when the real issue is a crumbling foundation. The foundation of health is found in a major way through foods. Food is our major interaction with the environment.
But wait, the best info is in the book! Dr Fenster brings new experience and authority. He writes in an pleasant and engaging conversational style.
