Good film and will have you questioning your own life and experiences

I personally enjoyed this film. Yes, the beginning was a tad slow, but I appreciated the fact that the characters shown were complex, and that, even after the film concluded, you still didn't 100% know them, but that's okay. That's life, and that's why I really liked the film. It depicts the truth behind the human experience and the complexity of emotions and personalities. Not every person is easily definable or can be figured out. Also, I do appreciate that the two main characters were vastly different, and even though one was stereotypically successful and the other not, they both had no idea what life was or what they were supposed to do with it. All in all, it was a good film. Great acting from the two leads, too.

2 1/2 Stars. Whatever. What?

Maybe I liked it, maybe I didn't. Maybe the writer could have made the two main characters slightly anthropomorphic desert tortoises, and they would have been exponentially less insufferable. Unfortunate considering that it had everything else going for it. It's latent with a really enveloping ambiance, the offbeat story line is really refreshing, and it's quite well done. This raised my viewing experience from total disgust with the main characters to absolutely perfect ambivalence. Well, perhaps a micrometer past ambivalence. Stanley from The Office can add a little charm to anything.

Two dysfunctional people.

Very slow movie about two dysfunctional people. Her more than him but still. Very well written (though slow), well shot and acted. Neither of these people should even be friends with each other, it's a losing proposition.

I would have given this movie more stars but... it's an hour and a half of dysfunctional. Not really into that.

Beautiful Movie - You Must Have Patience and Look Within

Gorgeous little movie. I love movies like this, small cast and they made my city, Los Angeles, seem small. Two people find comfort in themselves by giving each other a 2nd chance. We've all been there. I haven't enjoyed a drama like this in a long time. It gives lonely people like me, hope.

Good flick- be patient

The beginning was a little slow, but I think it's important in establishing the mood and the lives of the characters. It almost lost me, but I'm glad I didn't stop watching it. It was charmingly, realistic.
