This was a little confusing but as you read it unfolds and makes sense. It is written really well (I have found that alot of short stories are poorly written) and keeps your interest because you just have to find out what happens. I love Science Fiction and that is how I would categorize this short. The author did really well with so many characters and so little space. Ending is great.

I read this on a whim, looking for some interesting sci-fi. The description sounded unusual and engaging, however, I was disappointed when I actually read the novella. While the beginning and middle were interesting, the end was extremely unsatisfying. Some of the questions raised in the book were not answered satisfactorily (or at all), and my general impression at the conclusion of the book was a combination of confusion and irritation. The ending was vague and gave the rest of the book an air of futility. This is definitely not a book I would recommend to anyone.

I don't usually go for the Apocalyptic stories, not my cuppa, but this was a fairly fun treatment. The Angel is NOT totally down with the divine plan for the Apocalypse, which is portrayed as a heavenly bureaucratic behemoth with way too much momentum. A fun read.

Normally not a science fiction fan, this book has a great pace and, although short, that's my only complaint. I would also like to add that the political undertones make it more personal in my experience and give more depth to the story.

In all honesty im one of those supernatural religious blasphemy kinda story readers so i saw the title fallen angels and i figured hey sci fi meets religion nice! But to no avail, now dont get me wrong for what it was the story was very entertaining. The tech described was very easy to understand for those not to in to detail. The action was awesome, hung to every word. The reason i gave it a three star rating was cause i wanted to know more there was a couple of characters described in the begining that was never touched on again. Then there is the sheer concept of the angel itself which reminded so much of a certain anime called evongalion. But it was nothing like tat either. Over all the story kept its pace and followed thriugh with what i beleived was a redundant ending especially for a "chosen" character.
