I enjoyed this novel as it had all the hot and steamy sex scenes I require. If I had to be honest, I would probably have given it at 3.5/3.75 stars than 4. I enjoyed the characters but there were a number of things that required even my romance novel loving mind to stretch to keep it together- he is a hot rock star that you meet in passing in O'Hare and then he just so happens to be the band that you are the the video vixen for? A oscar winning actress? Also, some of the conversations didn't seem as natural as they could have - gratuitous cursing- that was overkill for even me, a woman who uses curse words as conjugations. Setting those reality bending issues aside, I really did enjoy the story and the characters, and may look into what the next novel entails.

I don't usually write a review for books I didn't enjoy. I just chalk them up to just not being my taste, and don't want to deter anyone that probably would enjoy it.
This book, though, is not for anyone. Unless you are 13 or 14 years old, but you wouldn't be allowed to read it because of the incessant cussing and boring sex scenes. The dialogue is choppy, hard to understand at times who is speaking, overtly immature, and there's a lot of it. This book is all "telling" and no "showing".
The synopsis was the only intriguing thing of this book. All I kept thinking was that this is just one long PSA about how movie stars and rock stars really are just regular people. They just happen to cuss all the time, think anyone who is not in a monogamous relationship is a wh@re or slut, get excited about going on tour so they can sleep with said wh@res and sluts, and most importantly get everything handed to them on a silken padded silver platter. The heroin is too perfect, loved by everyone, and never had to work hard for anything she wanted, or anything she didn't want for that matter. Win an academy award before she is 20, even though she did not want to be an actress? No problem. Reform a band from her high school days, record an album, and start touring with a famous rock band all within three months? No problem. Have the best of the best in the industry quit their fabulous jobs and work for her just because she asked them too? No problem. Suffer an extremely brutal sexual assault, and the only after effect is a problem asking for things for herself in a relationship? No problem at all! Lastly, let me ask you this. How many celebrities have you seen hold a press conference to announce they are quitting acting to become rock stars, and to announce a new relationship they are in?

I really like this book. There were a few things if left out or elaborated a little more would have made me love it more. I love the way Jesse and Lucy are with each other. Fate brought them together and there was no avoiding it. The things that I didn't really get with it were the mafia ties. I understand that is how having her cousin always around is like having her sister. For her mother to be so controlling, we don't really get much dialogue there. If it is a controlling and overbearing mother, then I expect to have more appearances in the book. Overall the story was fantastic and had a lot of hot steamy scenes. Lucy at times can be a little over dramatoc but it works with her relationship with Jesse.

Falling Down was a good story. I really enjoyed the characters.

Lucy had a crush on the Rocking Lead Singer from the band Falling Down. She dreamed of meeting him one day and when she got the chance, she went into complete Lucy lip lock mode. She couldn't speak all she could do was stare. Thank goodness her BF was with her to capture the moment and a lot of Photo's to remember it by.
When they meet again during a music video who would have guessed that Jesse would even remember her. From that moment on they became inseparable and reading about their path to love was addicting.
It was a sweet story and the sexual chemistry was off the charts hot.
Recommended Read.

This was a very sweet love story. When a young woman gives up a very successful acting career to peruse her one true love of music, she never expected what role her teenage crush would play in that decision.
Lucy has had a major crush on rockstar Jesse since she was twelve years old. A chance meeting with him when she was seventeen gives her hope she might have made a small impression on him too. Fate throws them together one more time when she is hired to be in his new video. When she and her cousin are caught singing and playing the instruments on their set, everyone is impressed. It gives Lucy and Sera the confidence and push they need to resume the band they played in, in high school. And gives Jesse the chance to get to know Lucy better.
It was refreshing to read a story that didn't have the typical drama over mishearing or misunderstanding a situation. Then the inevitable breakup and reconciliation. That's not to say there weren't arguments and screw ups, there were. You have to have a bit of drama. But like real life, these characters took the time to talk about it, and learn from it.
It was just a very sweet story about two people fated to be together, and figuring out how to go about doing that.
