Sweet and sexy, keeps me wanting more. I couldn't put it down. The experience of Fiji, the flirting, the sexual tension, the dreams, the reality...
It is just all wrapped up into this awesome package. Thank you Casey Hagen, you are truly a found treasure of talent!
A MUST READ!!
Corinne is an un-likely heroine, just as Everett is an un-likely hero. Together they make the perfect couple. They help each other overcome obstacles and they grow together to become the people they were meant to be.
Casey Hagen’s debut novel is a winner. It gives you a taste of romance, passion, overcoming family drama and taking a stand. She weaves the story masterfully. It is a fast paced masterpiece that I couldn’t put down. Few authors have the talent to really pull you in and not let go. I read the story in one evening, staying up to the early hours to finish. Her imagery of the tropical paradise gives you the urge to dig your toes in the sand.
Her characters are well developed, with beautiful interaction. The way they handle everything that’s thrown at them is remarkably real. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Corrine and Everett. I am looking forward to more from Ms. Hagen.
I loved Corrine's character. She is independent, hard working and extremely loyal. She is only partially following her dream, but what her mother thinks is holding her back. There is a carefree adenterous woman hiding behind the woman who does what she wants yet tries to be what others what her to be.
Everett has dedicated himself to his work. He is a financial whiz, his own boss, but he works crazy hours. He wants to someday have a life and a family, but he hasn't yet met the woman who he will change his schedule around for. With his glasses and casual attire, he wants someone to love him for him, not someone who is going to try to make him over and try to change who he is.
After Corrine finds out her fiance Jordan cheated on her she called the wedding off. After many hours on the phone canceling caterers, food, etc, she is wiped. Her best friend Alexa takes her out to a bar called Indigo. There, Alexa dares Corrine to ask Everett to dance. She one ups Alexa's dare, and slaps down two tickets to Fiji and dares him to take a week long vacation with her, a complete stranger.
Will this vacation be what Corrine needs to get over the heartbreak she is feeling? Will Everett be able to put work aside and take a week long vacation with 12 hours notice? Could this be a match made in Fiji? I look forward to more by this author.

Rating: # 4 stars out of 5
Casey Hagen, Falling In Fiji is a sweet romance that takes us on exciting adventures in Fiji while two stranger fall in love. Sometimes I take a story personally. This story became personal when I heard my television in the background talking about the devastation of the Fiji Islands from Tropical Cyclone Winston. My heart and prayers go out to all the people affected by this storm.
The plot of this story is a fun romance. You can’t help but respect Corinne Anderson, Picking up her life and propositioning a total stranger, Everett Harden to join her for a week in Fiji. You also can’t help but fall in love with sexy, romantic, geek, Everett Harden as they fall in love exploring Fiji. There is an instant attraction between these two characters. The chemistry gets more intense as you turn the pages. This book is hot, but it isn’t the in your face constant sex that you see in other books. The pacing is fast. Most of the book is set exploring Fiji. The last couple of chapters bring you to a quick conclusion. I was a little disappointed in the ending. I felt that some things got resolved too smoothly and quickly. The characters learned to overcome some fears, and make changes to themselves and the other facets of their lives. Overall it was a quick read filled with humor, emotions, sex and taking chances.
