I can say with all honesty that I loved this book. In this book we meet FBI Special Agent Cara Giosino and Interpol Agent Edward Hannel, whom we met briefly in Falling For Shock. I found both characters believable, and I was able to connect with them both.
From the beginning, the plot drew me into the story. The author did an excellent job at allowing the reader to see and experience a world that most of us don’t encounter on a daily basis. At the same time, she kept the emotional connect between the characters alive as they help each other over come tragedies from their past.
Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good contemporary romance with strong but likeable characters, a lot of emotion, and just the right amount of suspense.
I look forward to reading more books by this author.
Cara Giosino is an FBI agent who is determinded to get what and who she needs to solve her case. Cara has wanted to be an FBi agent since she was a little girl because she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps.
Now I have to say that the very first page of this book had my on the edge of my seat and I knew right then that I would not be putting this book down anytime soon. I loved this book and I also loved the characters too.
Edward is the broken man and Cara can see that and she has somewhat been in his shoes. She is determined to help him get through all his ghost. I have to say that this is an amazing book and I would love to see this book become a Lifetime movie.
Bravo Eryn and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!!
In Falling for Freedom, the second book in the Falling For Heroes Series, author Eryn LaPlant once again engages the reader by weaving an intriguing and suspenseful romantic tale that follows the love story of FBI Special Agent Cara Giosino and Interpol Agent Edward Hannel. Edward is a heartbroken man and Cara is just sassy and relentless enough to get him to help her solve her case. Cara and Edward's journey to falling in love is filled with enough emotion, drama, suspense, humor, romance, passion, and surprising twists and turns that easily keeps the reader guessing and turning the pages. I loved how Cara and Edward's partnership unexpectedly develops into a relationship, their story easily engages the reader to follow their thrilling pursuit to solve the case, get justice, and let go enough of the past to fall in love.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention how much I enjoyed that the author interwove the relationship between Edward and brothers Oliver, who the reader was introduced to in Falling for Shock, the first book in the series, and Rhys, the middle brother, whose story is featured in Falling for Phoenix, the third book in the series.
Falling for Freedom is a well written and exciting romance story that will leave the reader wanting more!
