Wow, what a roller coaster of events! This was an exciting and emotional read - a great continuation of Alexandria Bishop's Marlowe series. Chloe, the main character, was dealing with a lot of pain in this book and Hudson did everything he could to be by her side. Without spoiling it for you, let's just say these characters experienced a lot of ups and downs, including a few big communication gaps. At times I wanted to shake the characters because of their behavior, but that's what makes a story good - lots of angst! Toward the end of the book, I had a hard time putting it down! Now as a parent of a teenage boy, I was a bit annoyed with the parents because they seemed so detached, but all in all, I loved this book and was left with a smile of my face! If you enjoy young love with a rock star theme, pick up Falling For Hudson!

At first, even though I felt sorry for Chloe after losing both parents suddenly...I really wanted to slap her. She infuriated me with her self pity, and her indecisiveness. Then it was as if a switch was flipped and I really began to "get" her. I started thinking how I would behave having my entire life uprooted and ripped away from me at 17. However having an amazing support system that is Hudson would for sure help! He is every girl's knight in skin tight jeans, and drumsticks in his hand! I loved reading from both of their perspectives. I knew I was going to be addicted to this series...and here it is almost 4am, I just read the entire book and had to let everyone know how awesome it was!

Chloe was a depressed girl. Her parents died in a car accident. She was agonizing over which Hartley brother she loved more. Hudson LOVED her, and protected her. I loved every minute of this book. It has its ups and downs. It had it sad moments, happy moments. I would be almost be crying, laughing along with the story. Can't wait for next book!

This is the 2nd book in the Marlowe series. For me, this book is even better than the first and I absolutely loved it!

There were glimpses of Chloe's budding relationship with the Hartley brothers in Finding Flynn. In Falling for Hudson, Chloe must make the decision between the two brothers, the thoughtful, sweet Hudson who has been by her side while she deals with the devastating loss of both her parents or the hot, bad boy Jax, who also has a sweet side when he wants to show it. Chloe feels she isn't good enough for Hudson, but how can she not fall for him when he's the one holding her together.

Hudson has fallen in love with Chloe. He knows she isn't in a good place right now and is trying to be patient but he doesn't want to lose her to his brother. Hudson stays by Chloe's side and gives her the comfort she needs, but hopes that one day soon, she will realize it is him and not his brother she should be with. When circumstances throw them together without any outside influences for several days, the bond between Hudson and Chloe grows even stronger.

Will Chloe finally open up her heart to Hudson and let him help heal her broken heart?

I enjoyed every minute of this book! Once I began this book, it was difficult to put down to do anything else until I finished. This book has some light moments and some moments of great sadness for Chloe. Chloe experienced such heartbreak and while it was painful to witness, I was happy to see her learn to live her life again. I loved getting to know Hudson so much better and loved the bond between the 2 brothers. Alexandria Bishop's writing was amazing in this book and I look forward to reading more from her.

Falling for Hudson
My review.

Hmmm. This was difficult for me to rate as I loved and disliked this book in almost equal measure. With the love part just tipping the scales. Let me explain.....

Chloe Chloe Chloe...... In the beginning I felt truly sorry for her and the situation she finds herself in, who wouldn't, but as the story moved along, my dislike for her grew. How she was with, and around both brothers! Argh! So frustrating for me. Make up your mind already!!!!!! I felt she came across shallow and immature, but I kept on forgetting just how young she was. I did however like her towards the end of the book and as a character she definitely grew and developed immensely.

Hudson. He was an absolute dream. Such a swoon worthy male lead and at times I wondered why he stuck around. But because he did it made me love him all the more for it. The theatre lock in Mmmm dreamy. The only downside was the friendship he made with another girl towards the end of the book. I would've been like Chloe and disliked that too.

When things went a little wrong. Again, this part of the book had me throwing my kindle down with frustration. I could see what was going to happen a mile off, but I just couldn't put the book down (well apart from when I was throwing it lol) again I had to remind myself that they are kids!! Blimmin kids lol. I was all like 'I hate this book, I love this book'!!!! And Jax just got on my last nerve at this point!!!

So overall I went through the mill as far as emotions are concerned. I was sad, happy, mad, crazy enraged, swoony, heartbroken, hot under the collar (yummy sexy scenes) and frustrated (and not always in the good way 😘)

So my star rating is 4 stars, because of all of those things! It made me feel!
