Then one night, things go wrong. Secrets, jealousy, envy, and brotherhood, takes the life of one in which changes the life of many. Most of all, that fatal night, Nick pays the price in more ways than one.
The story revolves around a few open issues that is laid out early on. The plot itself is good, it has the typical bad boy loves good girl, her parents don't approve, his family pays the consequence scenario. With that as an opening, there's a twist to the story, which has you questioning just what happened that fatal night.
As the story progresses, you can't help but fall for Nick and understand his choices. Clea, was a very realistic character and it was easy to relate to her and as well as her choices that were brought upon Nick's decision.
This book is really a 3.5 stars. Epilogue! This book really NEEDED an epilogue. Honestly I dislike books that leave things with a "Happy for Now" feeling as opposed to a "Happily Ever After". At the end you just don't really know what direction the characters went, you have to sort of assume. There was also two other characters that were left in limbo, in my opinion.
In over all, the story was good. It had the romantic trifecta, angst, the scenes were decent not overly hot. I recommended it if you like stories with a slight twist.

This is an accomplished writer, with a beautiful style. She even understands the English language and how to use it. There were very few typographical and grammatical errors, and no spelling or context errors. I can't tell you how infrequently I can say that.
I heartily recommend this book.
I gave this book four stars because the story had a good foundation and I really did like the plot. I just wish there was more dialog and less narration. It is not a bad book. Like I said the story was there and the little twist at the end was a bonus.
sexual chemistry but no extreme scenes until the end and that is hot!!!!!! what comes before that is great but the end is hot!!!!

But the love he felt for Clea was something he could never let go of.Read more
Second chance romance, both p.o.v's, blackmail, cover ups, secrets, and so much more, kept my attention from start to finish, and never one full moment.
