The shipping box was perfect but somewhere in the storage warehouse my Pipboy case was damaged. The sleeve was cracked and the back of the case is completely broken. It does not shut all the way or latch at all. I paid for a NEW product from Bethesda, with the damage that was done to the case before I got it-it should of been cheaper.

The game is amazing and so was this Pip Boy Edition. The only thing I would say was a con for me was the Pip Boy itself, it was kind of cheap feeling almost like a PlaySkool toy and the paint job was basic rather than a real apocalyptic paint job. I only used it once with my phone in it which was a iPhone 6s, I did have to take the case off my phone for it to fit which was a pain and so for that reason I didn't do it again. I mainly kept the Pip Boy in the display stand it came with instead which for me as a collector I thought that was a great addition to the product.

Fallout 4 is AMAZING, anyone just expecting it to be Fallout 3 but with better graphics will be disappointed. A lot is changed in the gameplay, as happens with EVERY new version of a game and Fallout is no different.

For the Pip-boy, it's super freaking cool. Worth it. Anyone saying it breaks easy or annoying to use are probably not being careful with it and then blaming the item when it breaks, simply childish. It's an awesome replica of the exact Pip-boy you use in the game, and it's wearable semi-comfortably. It's plastic though so obviously be careful with it, but anyone who is actually a collector of stuff like this would know that. The best part is that you can use it while playing! Is it easier just to use the ingame Pip-boy? Sure. Is it more fun to use the actual working Pip-boy you have on your harm? Hell yes it is!!

Review for the Pip-Boy:

A very big pip-boy that is light. It feel like cheap plastic with foam in the inside to mold to your arm so it wont fall out. The part where you insert the phone to make it look like a real pip-boy only fit the Samsung phone and Iphone. They give you little foam cut out to make it fit. This is also huge and bulky as in it take me whole fore arm to wear it. This is a great edition to buy if you want to cosplay as the lone survivor on Halloween.

Review for the game:

The Fallout game itself is a bit buggy but what can you expect from a Bethesda Game. Great game all round and plenty of things to do. Graphic wise it the best so far and don't listen to other people on the internet saying that the best is Fallout 3. The game is huge and you can do whatever you want. You don't have to play the story-line, you can just explore and do whatever. There are no level cap for your character and you can get all perk if you play long enough. Now your companions can't died and you can romance them or all of them. The craft system is overhaul. Unlike Fallout 3 where you have to find the blueprint and craft that one weapon. You now can craft weapon/or parts and make your weak weapon to be fear in the wasteland. You can also make settlement and craft it to your liking, I mean really you can do whatever you want. Look on youtube and see what people are doing for their settlement. There are so much in the game I can't explain it all. It best you buy this game and quit your lift just to enjoy this.

I am a hardcore Fallout fan, I started playing from the original games so naturally when I heard that Fallout 4 was being announced I went bonkers. When they revealed the collector's edition, I knew right away that this would be worth a lot some day to collectors. It comes with the iconic Pip Boy and a case to hold it, the packaging is glorious. Unfortunately it doesn't fit with bigger smartphones, but luckily I had a iPhone 5S that fits perfectly for the device.

Although using the Pip Boy is a bit gimmicky it definitely made the game more immersive. I've been dying to have a Pip Boy, and I think that this would work well in a costume too.

I would highly recommend this for video game collectors as a collector's edition like this is not likely to see devaluation as with other collector's editions. I opted for the PS4 version, because that's what I own, however if I had the choice I would definitely go with the PC version.

I pre-ordered the Pip-boy Edition of Fallout 4 and received it the day it released back in November 2015. So I've had it for nearly a year now and I have to say, it's a really solid collectors edition! I purchased this solely as a collector's item. I don't use the pip boy while playing the game. I keep it on display in my room and that's about it. So I can't really comment on how long the pip boy will last if you use it when you play the game. The case it's housed in looks cool, the pip boy looks just like the one in the game, the perk chart looks just like the one in the game, the steel book is top notch, and Fallout 4 is a great game! What more could ya ask for? If you're a huge Fallout fan, then I'd say go for the Pip-boy Edition. Speaking strictly of gameplay, I really enjoy Fallout 4 but it's role playing elements have been watered down from the previous installments. If you like Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, you'll probably like this one. Hope this helps!

Like many others, I absolutely loved this game and can't wait to play more of it and the DLC in the future.

The Pip-Boy included is... alright. I played the first 10 - 15 hours of the game using it, and had fun during that time. It slightly increased my immersion in the game, I think. Like other people said, it's not quite as "functional" as it might seem, as most of the buttons and knobs on it are just for show. However, that may be as expected, I'm not sure the people at Bethesda can literally work miracles to avoid that.

The Pip-Boy edition I would say is only for the hardest of hardcore Fallout fans. It comes with a nice stand so you can certainly enjoy how it looks next to your TV or game console.

It came in pretty fast and I love it that I pre-ordered it on day 1 that they kept my pre-order for me. It's my favourite game of 2015. I was bit bored with fallout 3 and new Vegas but after playing skyrim for so long and loving that game I'm hooked on Fallout 4, it's even stopped me from playing destiny.
