I've heard and enjoyed all sorts of Irish, Brit, Celtic music before. This is a new level of brilliance. Think of all the great bands and artists you've heard before, then get ready for something new. Amazing musicianship and vocals. Somewhat dark. If you want a taste of the quality, try "Master Crowley's." There's a lot of sound depth and atmosphere. I fantasize listening to them in a generously large space, maybe with production not unlike that of, yes, Pink Floyd. Yes, I could trip out on it.

This album is Lankum's best. It covers a lot of ground in terms of variety and execution. So much great material that you just can't compare to any other artist - Lankum is unique that way. I think the track On a Monday Morning is one of the most beautifully rendered songs I have ever heard. If you are looking to expand your musical horizons in a wonderful way, order this.
