About the Author
Joanna Jullien is an author, educator and speaker with a passion for strengthening the parent-child relationship in a cyber powered world. A former technology executive and mother of two grown sons, Joanna left a career in technology circa 2004 when her youngest son hit middle school. She wanted to understand God’s divine plan for allowing mobile connectivity into family life. So she founded a parenting publication and education resource center called, Core Connectivity (formerly Banana Moments Foundation), and she publishes and teaches on responding to the trends of youth, popular culture, technology and the issues of modern family life in order to inform and encourage parents as household executives - so they can strengthen bonds with children as emerging executives. As a family culture consultant, Joanna has appeared on 103.9FM The Fish, 710AM Keeping Faith in America, 1380AM The Answer, and Examiner.com. She publishes regularly on the Core Connectivity website blog, Joanna and her husband live in Northern California. She was born in Massena, New York, and raised in Oakland, California in the Catholic faith. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social/Cultural Anthropology from U.C. Berkeley. Her honors thesis on corporate culture was awarded the Kroeber Prize from the Anthropology Department at U.C. Berkeley, and was supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). Since graduating from college she has had a 20-year career as a manager and executive for information systems, manufacturing and environmental management businesses.
