The author encourages readers to not hold back when being generous with information — to give others the best of what you've got to offer, for free. It may seem counter-intuitive, but being helpful in this way will cause others to see you as an authority. And being an authority will set you apart from your competitors and attract more clients or customers.
One of my favorite chapters is The You Gap. It encourages the reader to ask the question, “What am I made to be?” Discovering the answer to this question will teach you how to serve and help others in unique ways that only you are able to. And this can lead to more than just being successful in business.
Want to live a fulfilling and purposeful life? Step one: stop thinking about yourself, and start helping others.
