Miles Merchant version of the book looks nicer than several others of similar style that I purchased. Each author uses their own unique frame for stock photos and this author selected a frame that does not obscure or clash with the image itself. The book content cover the following topics: what is a bee, species of bees, what they eat, how big are they, their body structure, what animals eat bees, bees and their hives, are they nocturnal, what is the difference between a bee and a wasp, how do they fly, what is pollination. The text is not aimed at small children, it is Wikipedia level text. But the information is correct even though the book is not particularly creative.
Ali Julia review
Starts out with offering other works by the author for free. Intro about what a bee is and what they look like and what they do.
What they eat and what their mouths look like along with showing you by pictures.
How they are the same and not the same in other aspects and species of other bees.
Like the parts where they talk about pollinating the flowers and vegetables growing.
More works by the author are highlighted at the end.
So very informative.
