Control your data. Control your destiny. Data and Destiny is the fourth deluxe expansion for Android: Netrunner. Its 165 new cards (three copies each of fifty-five different cards) focus on media giant NBN and three groundbreaking Runners. As NBN launches the initiatives of three new divisions, you'll find a wealth of new media-focused assets, advertisements, and tag-based strategies. Meanwhile, three new Runners present novel slants on the Runner's experience, represented by three new Runner mini-factions, so that for the first time since the Core Set, Data and Destiny explores brand new Runner paradigms.

*15 Minutes (4) *24/7 News Cycle (3) *Ad Blitz (3) This card might be playable with a Spark deck.
*Adam: Compulsive Hacker (3) It’s hard to give a high score to this ID. You really have to factor in his cards (especially his directives) to really rate him. It ends up being alright, but probably the weakest of all 3 of the new runners. *Always Be Running (3.5) Here’s a directive for Adam. It has a moderate downside that you have to run first each turn. But then again you usually have to run to win, so it balances out. *Apex: Invasive Predator (4) His downsides are all the resources he can’t use like Aesop’s Pawnshop. But when you look at him being played, he has been a decent runner. *Apocalypse (3) Great in Apex and can be brutal in decks that like running all the servers. *Archangel (3) *Assassin (3.5) Glacier HB loves you…. *Brain Chip (3.5) The console that keeps on giving. Literally! *Dr. Lovegood (1.5)
*Employee Strike (5) Wow! A cheaper runner version to Cerebral Static. This card is pretty brutal! *Endless Hunger (2.5) *Global Food Initiative (5) I see this card being used in pretty much every corp deck here on out. Safer than most of the 5/3 agendas! *Globalsec Security Clearance (1) Peeking at R&D has been of mediocre use so far in the game. And I highly doubt this will change anything. *GS Sherman M3 (2.5) *GS Shrike M2 (4.5) At first you may not notice it, but this is a deceptively powerful killer. Might be one of the best in the game. *GS Striker M1 (3) *Harbinger (2.5) *Heartbeat (2) *Hunting Grounds (4) Not a bad resource in general. Hurts Data Raven and Tollbooth. *Independent Thinking (4)
*Improved Tracers (1) The HB, Jinteki, and Weyland versions of this card didn’t work either. *Jak Sinclair (2) *Keegan Lane (5) Step one, install Keegan. Step two, install cheap ETR ice. Step three, install Data Raven. Step four, celebrate good times. *Launch Campaign (3) *Lilly Lockwell (2.5)
*Media Blitz (2) *Multithreader (4) *Neutralize All Threats (3) *New Angeles Sol: Your News (3) Right now there isn’t enough currents to make this a tier one identity. Down the road, this could be awesome though. Stay tuned. *News Hound (1) *News Team (4) *Prey (3.5) *Quantum Predictive Model (3)
*Reality Threedee (3.5) Very underrated card. Free money each turn and still a high trash cost.
*Rebranding Team (2) *Resistor (3.5) *Rutherford Grid (1.5) *Safety First (2.5) *Security Chip (4.5) Sunny loves this card. You can also give the corp headaches doing math with this. Which means it’s good.
*Security Nexus (3) *Shannon Caire (0.5) *Spark Agency: Worldwide Reach (4.5) I would have said that this ID would be a weak one. And I would have been wrong. The trick with it is to know when your optimal time to rez your assets. Once you get that figured out you can slow the runner way down, even if they are running a lot of economy. *Special Offer (4)
*Sunny Lebeau: Security Specialist (4.5) Easily the best of the three runner IDs. Granted she makes for a very slow deck. But once she gets going, her econ is insane. Versus fast advance she can lose easily. But if the corp gives her a chance to get to the mid to late game, watch out! *Surveillance Sweep (3)
*Sync: Everything, Everywhere (5) It can work as fast advance, or supermodernism, or a kill deck. The real deal folks. *Technical Writer (4) *The All-Seeing I (4) So close to being amazing. But Valencia laughs at it. And she reigns supreme after worlds. *TL:DR (3.5) *Turnpike (4) *Victoria Jenkins (3) *Wasteland (2) *Windfall (0) Garbage and jank. It’s just too unpredictable.
Overall: (5) If you are a Netrunner fan, all of the deluxe boxes are a must buy. This one is no exception. Fantastic value for your money. Highly recommended!
