Sage has been passionate about books from a very early age on and dreamt of writing one for years while working on the day job instead. Interesting characters lift this story beyond the standard rent-boy 'rescued' tale

This isn't some kind of Hollywood fairy tale. My life isn't a cliche. It is, well, what it is. Business. With all the filth and slime you'd expect around someone like me."

In some ways this story has a fairly standard plot. Nate and Cam meet while Cam is working. They have a physical relationship - hot and steamy - but Nate wants more. He falls for Cam and has hopes of rescuing him from the life he is leading. But there is a certain depth to the story as the characters reveal more about themselves.

Cam (Noel) runs from Nate, trying to protect himself, believing he can only survive if he keeps himself distant and doesn't let himself feel too much. Nate is just too tempting so Cam chooses the option of leaving rather than risk being hurt by falling in love. I was a little surprised that Nate let him walk away and waited so long to go after him!

The story culminates in Cam (Noel) finally letting Nate see more of his true self. There is no huge happy ending, more a sense that these two men might somehow make things work - while Noel isn't ready to proclaim his love, he is ready to try. This actually gave me hope that things would work out - a fresh start based on honesty without false promises.

Sage delivers another great book and story with Fantasy for Sale. His writing style is unique and the way the characters are presented makes me as reader to get more invested in the story.

Nate and Cam's meeting is one that will start the whole journey into their unusual and unexpected relationship if it can be call that way.

Nate is falling deep ... Cam keeps telling him is just sex ... But when tragedy happens ... Nate is the one and only person who can save Cam ...

Cam starts confessing his truth but gets scared and the broken pieces of what could be are still broken ...

Nate keeps pressing on ... He knows what he wants to show Cam he is worth it ...

And maybe Cam can finally show Nate who he is ...

I got a little skeeved out right away, when Nate and Cam got together the same day Cam/Noel had just been with Cynthia, Nate's friend. Just seemed gross. Nate's sudden infatuation was hard to believe. Nate's relationship with Keith was strange to me as well. How can you call someone you sleep around on, a boyfriend? Even if they both did it. If Nate was so taken with Cam/Noel why did he let him walk away so easily while still injured? Then, six months later Nate finally decides to look for Cam/Noel after seeing someone he felt sorry for in a sex club. He didn't think of that sooner? That Cam/Noel might be out going through the same things he'd already told Nate about? Then, how did Cam/Noel become a Social Worker after only six months? Just too many details left out that would have enriched the story and characters.

I loved this book! I'm the first to admit that I usually gravitate toward angsty or sweet reads with a rock solid HEA. This author delivers an entirely different reading experience - it was refreshing and captivating.

The premise titillated, Fantasy for Sale, but I'm glad the author explored further. The dynamic between Nate, Cam, and Cynthia fascinated me, I never would have expected it to work so well. The chemistry between Nate and Cam was beyond fantastic, and the nookie scenes were scorching hot! My heart strings were tugged more than a few times by and for Cam. I wanted to light a fire under Nate's butt to get him to push for more, faster - and I wanted to smack Cynthia out of the way. A great read. Highly recommended.

I'm a big fan of anything Sage writes but this book is my current favorite, (that will probably change when I read his next one) There's not many authors that I don't bother reading the blurb before I buy their book, but I know with Sage's books that every one is great, so why bother.

The relationship between Nate and Cam was beautiful and well paced. I love it when the main characters have to work through a lot of issues before they eventually move on together and these two guys had a lot to deal with. It's filled with angst, confused feelings, misunderstandings and fantastic sex, it had everything i want from a book. The portrayal of Cam as the seductive escort was realistic and he didn't sugar coat what the job actually involved. It was beautiful, heartbreaking and one that I will read again. The passion between them and the way that the scenes are written is raw and real.

I'd definitely recommend anything Sage writes, but this one I would TELL you to buy. I hope that there is a second book coming out about Nate and Cam because i already miss them. :(
