If this was a $20 dlc for Far Cry 5, I would say it was a decent buy as a stand alone game it strikes me as a money grab. This will be the last Ubisoft game that I buy new.
The last 1/4 of the game made me not like it. I never bought in to the "twins" as the main antagonists. Several times the main character could have taken them out but never did. They were preachy and annoying. And when you finally get to the final mission to actually take them out, they are significantly more power than any enemies you have faced before (for no discernible reason). Also the last couple of story missions do not make much sense compared to what you are doing in the rest of the story. Those last missions left me with a bad feeling about the whole game. Once I finished the last story mission, I had no desire to either complete other side missions or do any other activities.
If the game is inexpensive, I would say it is a decent purchase, but I would not pay a full "new Far Cry game" price for this.
