This is not a book that spends time arguing for the correct interpretation of cited scripture. It is not a book that intends to argue on fine points of theology the way you find in Bennets book "Catholicism, East of Eden" or the others like "Preparing For Eternity" "Salvation, the Bible, and Roman Catholicism" "The Mathew 16 Controversy" "The Gospel According to Rome" etc.
Where scripture is cited, it is used in the Persons testimony to show where it lead them.
This book is very well put together, easy to read, And my thanks to the editors for compiling all the stories.
Other interesting reads for those looking into this topic.
"Why We Walked Away, 12 Former Priests Tell Their Stories" available currently in paperback and ebook on amazon.
"The Truth Set Us Free: Twenty Former Nuns Tell their stories" by Richard Bennet
"Holy Ground, Walking With Jesus as a Former Catholic" available in paperback and ebook on amazon.
And those mentioned above that are more arguing fine points of theology.
If the editors read this, Please make a kindle version for this, and Richard Bennet's other books "East of Eden" "Far From Rome".and "The Truth Set Us Free". It is much more easily accessible and for me at least, readable and portable that way.
