tldr: if you are not an experienced home chef, these are not for you.
*Update - It’s December 2020 and these pots just survived a year of cooking constantly through the pandemic. They have held up nicely and I’m gonna go ahead and double down on them being worth the money!*
So, I want to begin by saying that I was skeptical that these were going to be good for the price. I was expecting them to be thin and with uneven heat distribution. The bad reviews didn’t help. But I decided to take a chance and if they were awful, I would send them back.
A little more info: I cook on a gas stove and I cook a LOT. I usually cook 7 dinners a week, several breakfasts, and some other stuff as well. I needed something durable.
Right out of the box I was impressed! They are sleek, but have a good weight to them. Yet not too heavy. I have been having issues sautéing with my favorite copper pan because it’s very heavy and my hands are losing strength. For me, these are the perfect weight.
I decided to wait until I had a chance to cook a large variety of items before writing this review. I’ve had zero issues and have honestly been impressed with how easily they clean up. Bacon, eggs, thick curries, beans, and other things that are usually difficult to clean are very easily scrubbed off with a soft brush and dish soap. Don’t put these in the dishwasher. Hand wash and dry promptly.
So, here’s the part you don’t want to hear - if you are not a proficient cook, DON’T BUY THESE. By proficient, I mean you should be able to cook without burning things. If you even burn things occasionally, these are not for you. If you cannot cook rice on the stove perfectly, you should probably look for another set, get some practice, and come back to these sweet stainless steel babies in a year or so. If you don’t like to clean, or leave dishes sitting, DON’T BUY THESE! If you have no problem cleaning up after a meal and hand washing, you’ll be fine.
Overall, these are for people who know their way around a kitchen. Yes, you have to use some oil or butter depending on what you are cooking. Yes, you must clean them well and dry them properly. The bad reviews on this product were left by people who either received a truly defective product (unlikely), or who thought they were better cooks than they are. Or maybe their cell phone rang while they were cooking rice and they forgot to turn the heat down, I don’t know... ;)
Anyways, these are awesome, and for the price, it’s a steal. I’ve been using them daily for over a month and they are doing wonderfully. I highly recommend!

Coating literally came off

I bought this about 2-3 weeks ago the rest of my pots are fine except for this one, I cooked my food and used a wood spoon apparently my entire family ended up eating pieces of this coating in their soup this is highly dangerous. We were all disgusted by this thankfully I received a full refund. Be very careful of the coating being diffective

We've only had this set about 3 weeks. Looks great, cleans well, cooks nicely with our new induction stove. But today we were boiling water and the connective material between the bottom and body of the pot seems to have melted. We haven't done anything particularly strenuous with the cookware, and reading through the materials that came with the product I don't think we've mistreated it in anyway. No sign of this on any of the other pots or pans - so maybe this single piece is defective? Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Amazon accepts returns for defect products of this type.

UPDATE: The melted pot was replaced after we posted the comment with a request for more information. We will follow up and we are impressed by the customer service. We're still knocking off one star because it was pretty scary when it started smoking on the stove, but hopefully it was just a fluke with that particular pot.
