My go to For kitchen was always Farberware but lately it is poor quality. I had the w2 cup percolator for over 30 years until about 3 years ago when we got a new one. We have had 4 since then. I switched to Cuisinart but I miss my original percolator. I wish Faeberware would contact me. Can i get a new pan or a refund?
Great size - big enough to hold a 12-pound turkey comfortably, but not so big you can't store it easily
Non-stick - very easy to clean up with no residue
Sturdy rack - fits the pan perfectly
Strong handles - rotate down to reduce storage space required and avoid interfering with basting or carving.
The handles rotate up so you can lift the pan, but when the pan is in a hot oven and you're using pot holders they are very hard to lift into position. I was concerned about being burned or dropping the turkey.
The rack is flat, so the turkey rolls around when you try to cook it breast-down.
It's used as a litter pan by a rabbit that loves chewing up plastic litterboxes. Her chewing on them could cause very serious intestinal problems requiring emergency surgery, or it even kill her.
Wondering what to do to stop her, I thought of a metal pan. She can't eat metal. The dimensions needed led to a specific metal roasting pan. She's rusted out a couple of those pans, sold by a different manufacturer. When I could no longer find them at the local <insert name of large department store chain>, I looked on Amazon and found this pan.
This pan looks just like the ones she used before, but it has a heavier rack than the other brand did -- if I weren't using it as a litterbox, I'd definitely use for cooking. (No, when she dies, I won't be washing out the pan and putting it in my cupboard. Unlike plastic litterboxes, they recycle.)
One thing the rabbit likes is the handles. Some times, she entertains herself by flipping one up with her nose, and letting it flop back down. Repeatedly. She must like the clanking sound it makes.

On occasion I've put an inch of water in the tray to provide humidity for the food cooking.
