Non-stick coating not durable

After perhaps 4-5 times used, with non-metal utensils only, the non-stick coating began lifting from the pan in places. At my most recent use, large areas of coating are coming loose. I have replaced it with a heavy gauge plain aluminum baking pan.

I bought this pan for use in my toaster oven, which has a capacity of up to 11 inches. Unfortunately, this pan measures just over 11.5 inches with the handles. That information isn’t included in the specification section of the Amazon listing. I wish I had read the Q&A section closely before purchasing this, as someone provided the outer measurements there. I wouldn’t have bought this pan had I known it’s true dimensions.

Other than that, the pan seems fine. It’s very easy to clean - much easier than one of my glass pans that I use for a recipe that’s a bit messy. If you don’t mind the overall size, this pan is a good value.

I needed a third 9" pan as I was making a tiered cake and only had two. This one had handles which is nice, but it's much lighter and thinner than my other pans. It is also slightly smaller as it fits inside the other pans. It's not that much of a difference unless you are stacking the tiers on top of each other which I was doing. Since it was smaller, I had to shave the sides of my cake so all tiers where the same. Unnecessary work for me.

How can any kitchen survive without one of these? My goal is to streamline my cabinets and have less clutter, so I tried, telling myself I would use the glass containers I have whenever the recipe calls for a 9 inch square pan (which is really often, especially when I didnt have one). But glass cooks differently, so many things were taking longer times to cook, and they would stick like crazy. So glad I finally gave up and ordered this pan, already used it several times because everything coooks perfectly, then just slides out of the pan. No soaking off the stuck food, just a quick wipe down (don't scratch these pans or put them in the dishwasher to preserve the nonstick performance). Also, much more expensive at the big box retailer where I originally shopped for a pan. 5 stars for price and functionality!

This pan works great although from pictures I thought it would be bigger. So paying attention to the actual measurements. It means a lot. For its price I would think it would be better if it was a little cheaper. Yet I'm still happy with my purchase. It's true to its word that its a nonstick pan. Works from doing cookies, cakes, to baking veggies and fish.

I haven't had the chance to use the cake pans yet but I'm going to use them to make a 2 layer Anniversary cake soon. They are surprisingly heavy duty for the price. Very happy with the quality and sturdiness of the pans. I washed them and they stack very well. Looking forward to making my cake.
