Well someone needs to review this album. I would say it is a solid piece of work among Gil Evans' many outstanding albums.

Let The Juice Loose is one of the best examples of Evans' excellent fusion of big band jazz and rock. There is some fine instrumental work- Hiram Bullock is a virtuoso on fusion guitar with a strong grasp of jazz. There's some excellent sax work in this song, alto I think.

Waltz is a long and lively piece with a ton of instrumental brilliance.

Little Wing is a pleasant song- Evans clearly is a huge fan of Jimi Hendrix' compositions; I like them too, perhaps not as much as Evans, but he does a very nice rendition of this Hendrix tune on this album.

You generally don't find any duds among Gil Evans' albums, and this one certainly is up to his high standards.
