While I do love the world building, and the characters, as a small warning the world is extremely extremely brutal on a massive scale and in multiple ways painful. So if reading be prepared for world war 2 level of brutality. The enemies she fights are truly evil, and the actions she takes to stop them take a tole on her on in many ways.
I recommend reading these stories because they kept my attention and were quite complex. How a single action can have numerous consequence and how sometimes it is the least of us that can become the greatest.
I will be buying the next book, but the world while growing and getting better for the characters it still is an extremely brutal place to live.
