There are four recipes on each page in a small font. Very few full page pictures in color. Little extra white space.
The first page I turned to had a recipe for barbecued ribs. First thing it said, "break the ribs into serving sizes." I asked my friends at Girls Night Out (who are also my age 60+) how a new cook would know what that meant. They all agreed that back in that day,young women were more active in the kitchen and probably understood more about the preparation of food than today's girls.
This was a good addition to my collection.
