The pumpkin was exactly as advertised. I actually bought it for my dogs, because we add pumpkin to their food daily...high fiber, low fat, very filling. (Only PURE pumpkin for dogs...cannot have ANY additional ingredients! One dog has a propensity towards being overweight. I ordered this particular pumpkin because it was available in quantity, and I found my local supermarkets to be all out of pumpkin by late summer. (A shortage or something......) It was shipped within a reasonable timeframe, wrapped carefully, and met my needs perfectly.

We were very pleased to find this item online, as it is extremely difficult to find canned pumpkin most of the year, at least in our area. In addition, we had purchased this exact same brand of pumpkin previously in a local store, and it was over three times more expensive than what we paid online.

The pumpkin we received is different in texture (much more grainy) than we expected. The taste is o.k., and overall it is usable; however, we believe that the noticeable difference in texture is the reason why these particular cans were so inexpensive.
