About the Author
A life-long writer and history buff by marriage, Minnesota native Joni Hubred-Golden moved to Michigan in 1999 to work for Observer & Eccentric newspapers, in Oxford and then in Farmington, her permanent home since 2003. A mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and stepmother, Joni lives in downtown Farmington with her husband, Brian, whose love of local history knows no bounds.
