The book: It is very large and the photographs are crystal clear. They then take this book and cover it in amazing fabrics(I was lucky enough to get it in Prada's banana fabric). This is encased in a custom Plexiglas sleeve(the back and the front are both open so it's more of a sleeve then a slipcase). All of this is perfectly packed into shipping boxes so that it arrives in perfect condition.
The content: FIT has chosen 100 designers and of them included multiple items. Most of the items have both detail as well as full view photographs. Each designer is given a cartoon likeness and a short bio. Text is provided in English, French, and German. A listing of past FIT exhibitions is also included.
This is an amazing reference and I'm sure will be the gold standard for any future publications. This is not an inexpensive purchase(Thanks, Amazon) but it's worth every penny even at retail price.
It is truly a work of art!
