You run a restaurant and make food to keep up with customer orders, simulating chopping, stirring, and cutting with the stylus. Some of the things you can make are sushi, spaghetti, steak, hamburger, curry rice. They all involve a different gesture with the pen and you must get the customer happy meter full before time runs out. As the levels progress, more and more customers will come in, requiring you to multitask quickly. The waitress will also occasionally bother you for help. It's in your best interest to help her since her graphic takes up almost the entire screen so you can't see the customers. Her tasks are things like wiping the table, punching numbers into a calculator, sorting plates, cups, and silverware into the right bins, or guiding a delivery bike to a customer.
The game is very short -- only 15 levels. I got to level 11 on normal difficulty after less than an hour. In Free Mode, you can replay any of the levels you've beaten in Story Mode. Every level is basically the same, with just different graphics and more and more people thrown at you at once. There are 10 mini-games to unlock. They're all one-shot games/distractions in the vein of the WarioWare brand. They're not related to the restaurant theme and seem just randomly tacked on. They have really generic names and don't even star the characters in the main game. For example, "Super hot food" is a shell game of curry plates. They spin around and you have to find the one that doesn't have hot sauce. Another is "Finding Ingredients". You get 3 tries to find truffles randomly hidden on the screen by placing a pig on the screen. The pig points to the direction the truffle is in. After 3 wrong, the location resets. Then there's "Sauce Decoration". You trace over lines on a cake. Most of the mini-games are timed and aren't a whole lot of fun. There's really no point to them, as they don't unlock any extras. No character galleries, customizable restaurant, cookbook. Zilch.
Overall, this game is not very fulfilling and there's not a whole lot here to recommend. If you just want something mindless to waste time with, I suppose this is ok, but there are better puzzle games available. If you have repetitive stress injury, you may wish to avoid this game as it involves quick reflexes and a lot of wrist and finger movement.
