Jason Gregory blends modern science and ancient spiritual wisdom to show us why mental overstimulation is so harmful. Selow, author of A Rebel Chick Mystic’s Guide)
“Fasting the Mind discusses with depth and clarity one of the most important aspects of internal cultivation. . . . the mind must be disconnected from distracting stimuli in order for change to take place. This contains profound wisdom from all over the world and dates back to ancient cultures and their wisdom. The sheer knowledge contained within this book without the advocating of mind-fasting is incredible. And if you actually follow this comprehensive guide to becoming more in tune with the dao and close yourself of from the bombardemnt of distractions and filler content from our various screens it becomes priceless.
So for the modest pricetag and what you are actually getting i think this is a bargain.
thorough job in covering the material historically and then helping to show us ways in which we can attain a place of peace with ourselves.
"Fasting The Mind" is a very readable book. It helped me to connect to that place of peace by giving my mind a rest from it's incessant running.
I enjoy reading Jason's books. Keep on writing.
