Fat Daddio’s anodized aluminum bakeware reaches baking temperatures faster so your recipe can start doing its thing. Seamless, even-wall construction, produces consistent heating so your recipe turns out the way it should. No extra metal means quicker cooling times so your baking actually stops baking. Anodizing allows bakeware to become more. More durable. More versatile. Safe for citrus based foods and no cross-contamination. The preferred square-corner baking pan for decorators. No extra metals, welds, chemical coatings, or excuses for poor performance. Don’t let bakeware limit your baking.

As for baking with this Anodized Aluminum I have never had such great success as with this cake pan. I don't use parchment paper in my pan – I just use Crisco and sprinkle with flour and the cakes just pop out when I flip the pan. I have tried using butter to grease the pan but butter has too much water in it and I find that the cake comes out soggy. Here's a tip – when making chocolate cake dust the pan with cocoa instead of flour.
Clean up is a breeze. Most of the time I wipe the pan with a paper towel when still warm which removes almost any trace of the cake. I do follow up with a light hand washing.
I am not a professional baker but I must say using these cake pans give even amateur bakers a professional cake.
When it comes time to replace some of my rounds, and baking sheets, I will be purchasing this brand!
P.S. You do get sharp corners with the square/sheet pans-which I love!!
Oh, about the pan: it's a nice weight and very rigid due to being stamped from a sheet of aluminum. The corners have very tight radii for a stamped pan and are straight up and down (probably important if you make layer cakes). The coating has a little tooth to it (i.e. it isn't slick or slippery feeling) that made it easy to prep the pan for baking. The first batch of brownies came out without any difficulty and the crust was even across the bottom and around the edges of the pan. It washed up easily after a short soak. Now, if I could figure out how to fit it into the cabinet with the rest of the pans...
These are not WalMart baking goods!
The thickness and rigidity of them blew us away for the price.
Doubting we will ever need to replace these!
Do yourself a favor, spend the few extra bucks. These are worth it!
