I was hesitant to buy online because I am that buyer that wants to see, touch and smell what I’m buying! lols. cakes came out perfect. In the Philippines I’m used of wrapping my cake pans with towels soaked in ice bath to make the cake even when they come out of the oven, And glad I didn’t have to do that on this cake pans! all cakes were even!

I've been baking cakes a few times a week for more than two years now. I had originally purchased some basic Wilton 9" cakes pans, which have a flare shape - not straight sides. I was tired of battling the flared edges on my cakes, so I read reviews on Bon Appetit and found that these wonderful Fat Daddio's pans were highly rated and they're made in my state! They perform great. Nice even bakes, straight sides, easy release when I use parchment and butter to coat the pans first. And I haven't needed to use my cake belts around the pans - these pans create flat cakes naturally. Wow! They clean up easily, just do not put them in your dishwasher. But cleaning them is so simple, that it's no concern that they should not go in the dishwasher. Don't hesitate.
