"Fat Girl by K.L. Montgomery is a thoughtful, sharp-witted novel with multi-dimensional characters and an extremely believable premise. What can I say about our heroine, Claire? I found myself alternately loving her, empathizing with her, getting frustrated with her, wanting to hug her, wanting to smack her...you get the idea. I loved the tone of this novel and appreciated how Intensely Personal (you'll understand the caps once you read it) it felt. Kudos to K.L. Montgomery on this truly enjoyable and heartfelt novel!
P.S. I hate Jeremy." - Author Sylvie Stewart
"Get out of my head!
I'm in love with this book! Not my usual read but so glad I 1-clicked it. I don't know many people, especially women, that can't relate.
So many times I thought, "Wow. I'm not the only one."
Easy and captivating read.
Highly recommend!" - Author Monique Pearson
"The writing style is such that lets the reader know 'you will be smiling while you read this.' And yet it is more. This novel is so more than its title. It is a quirky testimony teeming with sarcasm and wit that begins with a lost Claire and ends with an epiphany. She is more than just the 'Fat Girl'...she is valuable and she loves herself for it." - Literary Indulgence Reviews
"I really liked the warmth, humor, and depth of the main character in this book. The story had me laughing and crying; sometimes in the same sitting. I was invested to the point of not wanting it to end. Well done!" - Author Cathy Maza
