I received a copy of this book for an honest review. I also purchased this book to support the author and the idea of a verified purchase holds more weight for a person looking at reviews.
Fatal Beauty is a really good book.
The action in this book is undeniable. Never has the old adage –friends will lie for you, but best friends help you hide the body been more true. Charlotte and EJ’s relationship is definitely a love story of the non-traditional kind. I struggled in the beginning because the book moved differently than I am used to, however, if you follow N to any degree you know she breaks all the rules in the right way. I recommend this book to you if you are ready to change your reading game and have some fun.

It should have been a easy mess to clean up when you have connections but after a week together Jacobs has decided it’s time for the girls to return to lives they had before he met them. The only thing is that E.J. and Jacobs have a long past an intensive history over years that she’s not willing to just walk away from so easily. When he heads out the girls steal his hidden money, guns, and head off in his prized classic nova determined not to be forced back into the lives they once knew. When the girls left they had no idea what was hidden in the Nova something so dangerous that Jacobs is willing to kill to get it back. Will the girls be able to stay just one step ahead of Jacobs or will he catch them?
I like Charlie and E.J. clearly they have big issues but together they can support each other in ways that no one else has in the past. They are also learning to deal with their issues and might just make it out alive if they can just stay ahead of the man hunting them. They may not have traditional love in their lives but they have a best friend which is exactly that they needed and it’s made them stronger.
Clearly I was captivated by the cover it’s stunning I just had to sign up for the tour, since I’m in love with the cover. I admit other than a quick glance at the synopsis I really had no idea what this one was about other than two debutante’s stuck in a life neither one of them wanted. Fatal Beauty isn’t my typical read it has a lot of steamy moments between the girls and lots of other characters as well as drug usage which isn’t common in my book choices. Does it overwhelm the story? Not too bad it actually works to help portray how the girls lives had been up to the point of murder. Basically we have a murder and the girls on the run which reminds me a lot of the movie Thelma and Louise. Fatal Beauty is a fast paced hard to put down novel I know I struggled to take a break because I had to know how it would play out. It has its wow moments that made me blush just a little but that’s ok I liked it. Honestly the book is very well written it’s a gritty story that captured my imagination. I can’t wait to check out other books by the author after this one.
This book was a rush, filled with suspense and intrigue that had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Andrews did a great job of creating tension between the characters, pushing them to their breaking point before reeling them back in and forcing them to endure even more harrowing events as this story developed.
While EJ and Charlie were a great pair of misfits who got more and more tangled in this twisted web of lies and deceit, proving just what loyalty really means, Jacobs was the type of characters you love and hate at the same time. I was pulled in by his charm and magnetism, and a tiny part of me hoped that this would be a “…and they all lived happily ever after.” type of book. But that’s what made this story so fantastic. Andrews didn’t sugar coat anything. It was gritty and real. Just superb.
Fatal Beauty will take you on a wild ride full of friendship, murder, suspense, deceit, and jealousy.
When Charlotte finds herself needing help to dispose of the body of her fiancé, her call to EJ prompts a whirlwind of events that lead these two to build a connection of unwavering support in order to protect Charlotte from the crime she committed and the controlling lifestyle in which both women have been raised. But when EJ finds she must include the dangerous and mysterious Anthony Jacobs into the plan in order to clear Charlotte, will loyalties be tested? Have these two sold their soul to the devil and entered a game in which neither is prepared for the final outcome?
Fatal Beauty by Nazarea Andrews will have you reading details carefully, thinking about the events that unfold, predicting what will happen, and then leave you with your mouth gaping open and asking, “What just happened?!” A good read for those who are ready for a gritty book about unconditional friendships and a plot with plenty of twists and turns.
I was gifted a copy for my honest review!
It's a story of 2 best friends. Charlotte Brooks & Ella Jane Munro (EJ). Kinda has the Thelma & Louise feel but a smidgen different. Yes, it has an old car too. A Pristine,Loved Green Nova.
Charlotte needs EJ's help. She has just killed her abusive husband. EJ does what any friend would do…calls for help…..Anthony Jacobs. But this favor will have a price that EJ may not be able to repay. This story starts in Charleston and ends in Las Vegas.
But while reading this story, you wonder who the real mouse of the game is. EJ, Charlotte or Anthony. Gotta read to find out.
I only gave 4.5 stars due to I had some trouble in the beginning to really get into the story, it was a little scattered but by the half way point, I was engrossed into the story. And I loved how the ending was a complete surprise to me.
