The creator told me about this game a year or two ago while he was developing it, knowing his interest in tarot since the late 90's I thought "he'll do this right" and truly thought it was an awesome idea. Ah, here we are, the book is out and you can start playing with your friends! In the early 2000's the two of us (and some other friends) developed a tabletop system using action figures we had and this reminds me a lot with the exception that this system is far more refined than anything we ever came up with in that dining room.
I've played all sorts of games with the creator from Magic starting in 94 to our tabletop action figure system to dipping our toes into Warhammer, video games of all variety and even live steal combat and I absolutely love this system he's developed. Just try it!
If you like tabletop, if you like tarot, if you're just looking for something fun to do with friends that is quick and simple while you're taking a cards against humanity break... GET THIS BOOK and get your favorite tarot deck out. Seriously, just do it. Once you have a play or two under your belt it's an incredibly easy system that you can just pick up and go with, introducing new players with relatively little explanation necessary.
