About the Author
Born in Queens, New York, Big Mike can be described as a modern-day renaissance man; a jack of many trades, always ready to rise to his next personal challenge. He's the type of person who sets a goal and then makes it happen. While most people would first describe him as entertaining, intelligent, and funny, there is no doubt that his size is part of his larger-than-life personality and charisma. A love for food has always been present; no doubt this was instilled upon him during his younger years being raised by both his parents and his second-generation Italian American grandparents. He is remarkably well traveled for a young man from a middle-class family and intends to take his brand of entertainment and humor to all parts of the world. Some of Mike's accolades include various appearances and promotional work on local television, an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and multiple appearances as voice-over talent for commercials and creative consulting with some of the world's largest franchises. In addition to his break onto the literary scene, Mike also hosts a weekly show, The Big Mike Radio Program, and is often booked as a keynote motivational speaker for a wide variety of corporate events.
