We are retirees living in a 2-story home and got tired of making many trips carrying groceries etc up and down the stairs. So far it is working great climbing the carpeted stairs. We make sure not to overload this carrier with too much weight, realizing these wheels are made of plastic.

This cart is a good size and does go up and down stairs nicely. However it's a pain to push or pull it in any direction other than straight. My walkway is curvy and this can't be pushed or pulled easily. I acually have to lift it up and readjust the direction in order to continue. Since I don't have to use it too often I'll just keep it. But if I had known it would be like this I probably wouldn't have purchased it.

Sturdy but the wheels don't turn. It's good if you go straight or upstairs. No left or right steering. Would not buy again!

This is the best cart that I have purchased! I have difficulty carrying heavy loads of groceries and laundry, especially up stairs so this cart has been a lifesaver with its specialized wheels that can go up curbs and stairs. It is durable, hardy, easy to install, and fold away. I also like that it comes with a hook to hold the cart folded together when not in use so it can be put to the side without it falling open or getting in the way.

WE love it! It is perfect for our towels/bags from a short walk to the beach. I am not sure our wheels turned more than one time for a "step" type, as there are no steps, but very bumpy, but the big back wheels did a great job with the walk we have. I would recommend and I would buy again should I need another! Great product!

Did not work on open wood stairs. Not real happy because that is what I bought this for. Works well on flat surfaces.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy one of these wonderful items. I have MS so hauling groceries in is a dreadful chore. Luckily I have a handicap ramp, but if you have to make five trips when you get finished you're too tired to put the groceries away. With this cart I just pull it out pop it open and put all of my groceries in the cart in one trip. I push it back up the ramp and into the house and it's over. The one and only thing I would make different is if the wheels could steer on the front. The only way to turn it from left to right is to lift it or drag it to the side which is very hard to do specially if it's full of groceries. I love the step and climbing feature so even if you're not lucky enough to have a ramp like I do you can still get your groceries up the stairs and into the house with little to no exertion. I highly recommend you get one of these. They're great on vacation as well because you can load all your luggage into the cart and roll on up to your hotel room. Once you're there you can fold it and store it in the corner until you're ready to go home.

It seems a little bit smaller than other carts I own .I have to get up two steps ,so it still takes a bit of strength to pull it up.It doesn't just walk up the steps as implied,but is marginally better than hauling a regular cart up with brute strength .I would have given it 4 stars had the price been around $10 less .It's way overpriced for what it is.

This basket does everything they say it does and is SO convenient. It folds up easily to fit in the car. We shop weekly and all our groceries fit in this basket which is great for unloading the groceries from the car and taking them into the house that has several stairs to the front door. I love this.
