I remember (back in the day) when you could buy a tube 3 times as big for a lot cheaper. Never the less, this stuff does and has always worked. Sometimes I use iron on interfacing and this works like a charm to get the gunk off. Smell is a bit off putting, but what you get for in payoff, is worth putting up with; the smell. Product works great!

I’ve waited to Review until cleaning complete and, most importantly, subsequently using my Breville DiamondXpress 3100W.
This product has worked well and I’m delighted with result.
The smell seems minimal, though to be sure, I cleaned it in the garage.
However, I would make one important point.
I used an old cotton tea towel. The iron is obviously at maximum temperature for cleaning. So the residue which comes off is obviously also very very hot so be aware. Definitely do not use rubber or latex gloves when you’re doing the cleaning.
It’s simple really, with a bit of common sense you can have a new iron!
It’s certainly worked for me.

Prodotto ottimo per pulire le piastre dei ferri da stiro. Ha pulito una piastra di tipo ceramico alla perfezione, sembra nuova. Ne basta una piccola quantità (una nocciolina) su un panno di cotone. Il ferro deve essere moderatamente caldo (temperatura lana). Staccare la spina e chiudere il flusso del vapore e cominciare a passare il panno di cotone con sopra il prodotto con movimenti circolari. Emana un odore che è assolutamente transitorio e non rimane sulla piastra. Dopo aver pulito la piastra, riattaccare il ferro alla corrente, aprire il flusso di vapore e passarlo su un panno di cotone per eliminare i residui. Il ferro sarà come nuovo e scivolerà sui tessuti.
