Given the price, I fully expected this thing to be in the trash. This surpassed my expectations. I was actually looking for something a little more expensive to ensure a better product. I gotta say for $15, is completely worth it. I use this for my media center PC. This is so much easier to use than a track pad on a similar product. The "air remote" feature works very well. Very easy to control the mouse with it after some tweaking of the mouse sensitivity in Windows.
All the small things make this remote worth it. Such as disabling the buttons on the side that are face down so you don't accidentally press something when trying to use one side of it. The lights will shut off on the side that is face down and will light up the side that is face up. The simple function to disable the mouse cursor on the remote is a feature I didn't expect to come in handy. The majority of the buttons are already programmed so I can shut my PC down using the power button instead of Start > Power > Shutdown.
The few nitpicks I have are not enough to warrant taking away stars. The alt function buttons are damn near impossible to see in the dark, which is important since the keyboard side does not have a dedicated number row. I feel like they could have expanded the keyboard out further to either have a num pad or common special characters such as @.
5 of 5 just because the price point is awesome. If this was any more expensive then I would have given it less stars due to small overlooked details previously mentioned. It has high end features for a low end price point.
