My wife and I...we make enough money...so bills just got paid. After reading Fearless Wealth by RC Peck and seeing some of his webinars [...]...my wife and I decided that making a flat out change was impossible. So we opted to just get a true sense of what we were spending, what we were making and what we were not doing with our money. The net swing is not earth shattering...but we just found that $340.00 was getting wasted every month...that's over $4000 per year. At 5% per year and $340 per month that was just under $190k when I want to retire. I just found the money in my expenses trash can. I found it there because I read this book and started looking for it. I made NO drastic lifestyle changes. My wife and I still drink coffee and nice wine, we drive the same distances to and from work(she and I swapped cars now), we make the exact same amount of money and the market went green so we took some spare money and put it to use in a safe index fund.
You're going to wanna see yourself learning how to track and be mindful of where you spend you money after you read this book. You will just want to start learning where to place, invest and put all the money you start finding in your life. I might be wrong, this book could be terrible and RC not know what he is talking about...but my results are my proof to myself that his books makes finding money simpler, dealing with fear of loss of money more understandable and knowing how to grow your more money strategic and less emotional.Read more ›
