It seems as though with every new book I comment saying, 'this is his finest work to date'. However (no lie), this is his finest work to date! Mark shows a great understanding of viruses and computing, and this adds another level to the book. A new character is introduced that adds a compelling new twist to the story. There's also plenty of prepper tips and tricks.

I hope that this isn't a two book series. Even if it is, I'm sure whatever he writes next will be another winner! Thank you, Mark, and God bless!

A good follow up to tj previous book, but I don't like the fact that almost every one had to die in the end of the story, and yes I know that is a major spoiler. That is why I love auts like TJ Reeder that writes positive post apocalyptic fiction. Yes we know that should it happen it would stuck big time, and therefor I like to sometimes read fiction that is positive and not just doom and gloom. But having said that I will definitely read the next book in the series.

As always, there is no profanity in his books, with underlying themes of discovering and growing faith and a very possible story line of American collapse. Take a look at the headlines and around the world today... Nothing would surprise me anymore, and in this dangerous, confusing world we live in, the story line here is entirely possible - which makes this series even more interesting.

When you are trying to survive the Apocalypse you need a cohesive community. These folks allowed the wrong people to come in. It is interesting to read about the preparation and teamwork that is needed to survive. This is truly a scary look at what could be. The research for this book series must have been exhausting. It is well laid out and holds your attention.

I read all of Mark’s books and he never failed to deliver excellent readings. This book kept me at the edge of my seat. I finished it in two evenings, which is a record for me. I felt sadness, anger, happiness and giddy all at the same time. Mr. Pritchett kept me laughing between sadness and anger. This book seems pretty close to what to expect during the apocalypse times.
