I'm a 30 year old and I bought this for my 65 year old mother as a fun gift. We both enjoyed it so much, I had to get it for my girlfriend also (so I could play it). I find myself immitating the in-game voice saying 'mega frenzy' and the like at odd times of the day.
Definately a fun game. Great for spending time with friends or family around the computer. The PC requirements are extremely light. It ran fine on my 10+ year old computer.

This game starts "slow," AKA easy, and it doesn't get too hard. Some of the levels have creative, interesting devices, such as the glowing plankton to keep the light on. The backgrounds change frequently, and so do the critters and the storyline. Very enjoyable!! Feeding Frenzy 2 is suitable for the hearing impaired, but many of the fish are so small that I wouldn't recommend it for use by the visually impaired.

Feeding Frenzy was one of my favorite of the old Popcap games (never really got into the Bejeweled craze) and this sequel is even better.

Like the first Feeding Frenzy, you control a fish by simply moving your mouse left and right. The object is to eat fish that are smaller than you while avoiding fish that are larger. As you consume fish you eventually grow in size to where you can now eat the fish that were once chasing you. New to this version is the ability to jump out of the water briefly to collect bonuses and feed on insects. Many new predators have been added along with some original favorites.

It seems simple, but it's not as easy as it sounds and it gets rather hectic avoiding all the large fish, poison fish, jelly fish, and even pelicans that would like to eat you for lunch. It's a lot of fun with little learning curve, the hallmark of a good game; especially for kids. If you don't mind slightly dated graphics, warm up with the original Feeding Frenzy first. (Hot tip, get the PopCap Arcade pack Vol. 1 if the price is right.) If you can only afford one game, however, then Feeding Frenzy 2 is definitely the one to get.

This is one of the games that require little thought, quick reactions, and a well-functioning mouse. The premise is that you use your mouse to control a little fish swimming in the ocean and have to eat smaller prey to grow bigger while evading the bigger predators that are out to eat you. It is very easy to learn and starts out slow, getting progressively faster and more difficult while introducing obstacles and bonuses along the way. There even is something of a storyline to pull the levels together until you finally confront a mysterious monster at the end. One tip: practice the tail bite maneuver on the bigger fish - your success will depend on it in the final stages of the game.

I had tested out both Feeding Frenzy and Feeding Frenzy 2 before settling on buying this one - the original Feeding Frenzy game did not run properly on my computer and seemed "jumpy" at times. This one runs smoothly on both Windows XP and Windows 7 and the game play principle is the same. It has pleasing graphics and is a cute and fun game that can be enjoyed by the entire family from preschool to seniors. When I brought it home for Christmas, it kicked off a friendly family competition to see who could top its highscore list. It can be a bit frustrating to play if your mouse doesn't work well and tends to get "stuck" every now and then since reaction speed and accuracy of movement is important, but I've been able to play it through even without a mouse just using the touchpad on my laptop. It's a nice game to relax with and wind down after a stressful day.

the game, disc was easy to down load..basically downloaded itself...good coloring..smooth graphics...little fish eats fish...grows..eats bigger fish..then bigger...sounds simple? yeah right..you have bombs..hungry fish that want to eat you...squids to avoid...mermaid to chase..pick up points...starfish, power bubles...perals in a oyster shells to get..just seconds till.. it will gobble you...you move place to place...or should i say the ocean...scenes change and levels of difficulty changes...a few games..you jump into the air to eat bugs..if you learn to manipulate you mouse..your fish does tricks and picks up points...your not stuck with the same fish..your fish changes for some of the games.....

ther is another game to play while eating...the fish with the target....i am not saying nothing about this..you need to figure that out yourself...
this game teaches you hand, mousing and eye coordination...

this game is for everyone....it is a winner....go buy...and play you'll understand once you start playing...
there are several levels...it's not a quick game...remember each new level you move around the ocean..a map pops up so you can see where you are....

you can replay at any level..if you didnt do very good at a level....

This game is an all around fun game to play. It was purchased for my 4 year old grandson and he loves it. The first day it arrived, he played it for hours we had to make him shut it down to eat. He asked me to come watch him play, then wanted me to take a turn; I enjoyed playing the game also. I recommend this game for children; it has simple game control use of the mouse so children can play by themselves or even a Granny can do it.
