I Feel Only You Paperback – April 13, 2012
About the Author
After receiving her doctorate in business administration, Cadence Donovan went on to write her first series, The Shared Senses, to encourage women to commit to their relationships, look beyond the expected, and hope for something better. As a girl, she always wanted to be a housewife, so it’s not unusual that she writes inspirational romance novels that emphasize the importance of family, committed relationships, and compassion for others. Bringing reality to the forefront, her books stare mistakes, regrets, and bad decisions smack-dab in the face while providing a source of entertainment and a means of escape. A staunch advocate of continuous learning, human decency, and Christian living, the author currently resides in Austin, Texas where she immerses herself in family activities. Her latest novel is entitled, I Feel Only You.

Jackson and Chalice are age and ethnically different, with their souls tied together by love. They seem to have the perfect relationship. Jackson is an actor by trade, living away from the family for months at a time, while Chalice made and kept their home and family in Texas. But when Jackson is home, their house overflowed with love.
Chalice, a nurse by trade and previously divorced has two older children and a grandchild. But together Jackson and Chalice have their beautiful bundle of joy, Claire. She is bright, talented and spoiled by her father and home educated by her mother. Chalice did her best to shield herself and their family from the Hollywood lifestyle, choosing to keep their family a secret. But when an emergency brings Hollywood to their door, the once cohesive coexistence begins to crumble.
What unfolds rocks the foundation of their marriage, and as secrets come to light insecurities mount and chaos ensues. Chalice makes a decision that further challenges her marriage, but as Jackson protest, and finally concedes will he have enough faith and love to move forward, or will these decisions prove his and their marriages undoing?
This was a wonderful read! I really found myself totally engrossed in their story. It's a terrible thing to feel inadequate and insecure in a marriage or relationship, but even the best of relationship are flawed. Truth, trust and faith have to be your foot stool, so that you have a solid foundation to stand on. Chalice and Jackson face challenges, tragedies, and situations that tear relationships apart. But, will they endure, and persevere? You'll have to read for yourself.
