Felicia Brookins is a Christian Fiction Author and the 2016 winner of the Southern Laced Literary Award. Her debut literary work is titled, Sister Nadeen's WAYS. Her book focuses on the impact of a negative spiritual legacy passed on to the women in her main character's family from generation to generation.
The main character in the story is Sister Nadeen Simmons, The Head Usher at Greater Trials MB Church. She is a wife, a mother and a very spiritually toxic woman. She runs the church the way she runs her household, with an iron rod of hypocrisy because the minister is too busy conducting himself in a manner in which he needs 'ministering' too just like her.
She's stolen the pants, belt and the drawers of the Man God assigned to be her Head and he is catching HELL trying to get them back ! She thrives on carrying herself in the image of a Godly Woman while existing off of the praises of other people. And she is raising up three daughters whose destiny it seems is to be the SAME!
Felicia Brookins is working on part two of this trilogy and is looking forward to sharing her platform of transformation and self-evaluation with women all across the world.
