About the Author

Patricia Marcantonio is an award-winning author of short stories, screenplays, and nonfiction articles. Her collection Red Ridin’ in the Hood and Other Cuentos received an Anne Izard Storyteller’s Choice Award and was named an Americas Award for Children’s and Young Adult Literature Commended Title. Born in Pueblo, Colorado, she currently resides in Idaho.
