Format: Kindle Edition
Cash-strapped (Sir) Felix O'Day is in New York City on a private mission. He's helped out by several lower middle class characters who get him a job and a place to stay. Felix's secret is he's searching for his wayward wife. The book ends rather abruptly with some strings left untied which makes me wonder if there was a sequel out there somewhere. Not that I'm going to look very hard for it.
